This policy describes how the prayer times service used by our Garmin applications handles data. It applies only to the prayer times feature; the applications themselves do not collect or transmit any other personal data.

When is data sent to our servers?

Data is sent to our servers only when the application needs to obtain prayer times for your location. The watch sends the geographic coordinates of the device so that the service can either calculate the prayer times for that position or return already-calculated prayer times published by official sources for the nearest known location.

What data is sent?

The request contains:

• Geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) — required, so prayer times can be calculated or matched to the nearest covered location;
• Calculation preferences (e.g., calculation method, Asr school, high-latitude rule) — optional, used only to compute the times the way you configured them;

The application does not send any device identifier that is linked to your Garmin account, nor names, email addresses or any other personal information. For this reason, requests cannot be linked to you as a person.

As with any internet service, our server technically receives the IP address of the connecting network and standard HTTP metadata. These are kept only in technical logs used for rate limiting, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and are not used to identify or profile users.

What happens to the coordinates?

• The coordinates are used only on our servers: either to calculate prayer times astronomically for your position, or to find the nearest location for which official prayer timetables are available.
• The coordinates are not forwarded to any third party. Pre-calculated timetables are imported in advance from official public sources; your request never leaves our infrastructure.

What we do not do

• We do not collect names, emails, accounts or Garmin device identifiers.
• We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising in the prayer times service.
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
